I’ve been a casual crafter for a lot of years, primarily making one-off vinyl and laser cut items for family and friends. In early 2023 I made the decision to retire and as my retirement date neared, I wanted to try pickleball, a big draw for seniors. Soon I was hooked!

Shortly thereafter, my son noticed a woman playing pickleball wearing dangly earrings and casually mentioned, “I bet my mom could make you pickleball earrings.” That same day, I sat down and came up with several designs, cut them on my laser, and gave them to her the next time I played.

As soon as people saw them, the word spread, and I was swamped with requests. Can you make pink paddle faces? Can you make them smaller? I can’t wear dangles, can you make studs? I love shiny things, can you add glitter? Cats?

And just like that, YOURYOURSCUSTOM was born, where I take your ideas, your preferences, your style, and make them yours!

Pickleball is fun, and from the start, I wanted my earrings to be fun too! This is not fine jewelry, nor are they fine works of art!  This is fun jewelry that lets you show off your love for the game.

As I was working on photography ideas for my products, I snapped this practice photo and laughed as soon as I saw that I’d turned the card sidewise. My photo skills are just like my pickleball games— sometimes they go just as I envision in my mind, and sometimes I shake my head and wonder what I was even thinking or trying to do!
